DR. CATHERINE MATERNOWSKA is Professor of Violence Prevention for Young People and co-director of End Violence Lab at University of Edinburgh. She brings three decades of field-based research and programming around the world on violence prevention and response, gender equity, and sexual and reproductive health. Working for UNICEF–Office of Research-Innocenti for 5 years she led the Multi-Country Study on Drivers of Violence, has PhD from Columbia University, MPH from the University of Michigan and BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics.
