MARIACRISTINA MOLFETTA is a Cultural Anthropologist who worked from 1992 – 2008 in international cooperation for protection of human rights in refugee camps in the Balkans, Central America, tribal areas of Pakistan, Iraqi Kurdistan and Darfur in Sudan. She is contact person for international protection and asylum rights at Fondazione Migrantes and the permanent Observatory for refugees, Vie di Fuga, and was spokesperson for Fondazione Migrantes and Report on International Protection in Italy from 2014-2018. She was curator of The Rights of Asylum Report from 2017 – 2021.
